VR Lecture Experiment
VR Development Support for a Stanford Experiment, 2015
In support of research done at the Department of Communication of the Stanford University in the field of applications for Virtual Reality in learning environments, this VR tool was built in Unity3D for the Oculus Rift. It featured a fully rigged and animated virtual robot that is a replica of an actual model of personal robot (the NAO), together with custom integration to apply an actual NAO's movement programming to the virtual robot. The purpose of the tool was to enable the robot to lectures to users immersed in the VR simulation.
